About the role

As the first point of contact with RPM, you will play a key role in delivering a great first impression.

With strong communication skills, you will be able to work effectively with all RPM’ers, ensuring you understand their needs. You will provide a first class customer service to all employees and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have experience in office coordination and running reception, and be a problem solving with excellent attention to details. They will be familiar with taking charge of all day-to-day operations in the office, ensuring the office runs like clockwork.

This is a very hands on and varied role, as this person will need to ensure the communal areas of the building are kept clean and tidy at all times as well as providing front of house duties. We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the job done in the most efficient way.

Here are some of the key skills you need

  • Proven experience of working on a busy reception desk, covering a range of reception duties including arranging postal and courier bookings
  • Diary management and meeting room coordination experience
  • Professional telephone manner, dealing courteously, efficiently and promptly with queries
  • Previous office management experience preferred;
  • Exceptional organisation skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook
  • Experienced in controlling facilities and office management
  • Respond positively to change
  • Seek to achieve continuous improvements in the running of the front of house and the office
  • Good level of attention to detail
  • A real desire to deliver excellent customer service and always want to go that extra mile.
