EY are currently recruting for a Marketing Manager on a 12 month contract as part of our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) marketing and communications in the Brand and External Communications team.

This role requires an experienced team player with a strong understanding of all of EY's service offerings and buyers in the context of the corporate finance, M&A and private equity marketplace. The role will be required to build and manage strong relationships and collaborate closely with other leaders within the Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) team, industry representatives as well as with relevant client-serving professionals.

This person will be the overall lead and development for one of our TAS global marquee programs, focused on 45 countries and 19 sectors in large companies around the world, gaugeing corporate confidence in the economic outlook and identifying boardroom trends and practices in the way companies manage their capital agendas.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Execute the marketing strategy and plan in consultation with the BMC Leadership team, business stakeholders and collaboration with the BMC network and beyond to create impact in the market, reposition and strengthen our brand to drive business growth and perception
  • Continuously evaluate and adapt the program to accelerate the market-leading position and brand recognition with business stakeholders as well as in alignment with EY Vision 2020 business strategy; ultimately drive revenue with clients and prospects
  • Work with the TAS BEC Leader to create world-class BMC strategies that align with TAS business priorities to achieve strong business results and recognition with leading market influencers
  • Manage relationships and work with Partners and key TAS stakeholders across the BMC organization and within the business, establishing sponsors and advising subject matter resources to bring greater clarity and cohesion to their thought leadership development
  • Act as the lead for the global thought leadership and deliver content for print and digital media; manage a team of high-quality internal and freelance copywriter resources to develop and produce written and visual content that is predictive and provocative and focused on market/ sector issues and trends and provide insights into client needs and attitudes
  • Oversee independent research and the quality of work and services from EY data analytic teams and third parties (research organization)
  • Manage relationships with third parties (writers, research organizations), including contract negotiation in collaboration with EY Procurement and Services
  • Full budgetary and financial management responsibilities associated with the program
  • Oversee and manage multiple workstreams with a direct and virtual project team that span different ranks, competencies and functions(thought leadership development and creation, creative and design, data analytics, advertising campaigns, PR/media relations, social media, digital presence, relationship management with internal business stakeholders and external vendors), internal and external distribution and promotion of the created marketing materials
  • Provide guidance to industry and area/regional marketing teams on content development and assist in the conceptual design of their individual program-based thought leadership, sharing best practices that enables them to leverage and maximize marketing opportunities and execute marketing strategies
  • Build and manage relationship with other teams in the organization, including business development and client facing teams
  • Contribute to and provide appropriate input to the development of other firmwide programs and support methods for driving innovation and change across the BMC organization
  • Work closely with the TAS BMC BEC Leader and the wider BMC BEC team to develop and create impactful advertising and social media campaigns


  • Excellent communication abilities, which are required to connect the dots within the different marketing pillars, industrial and regional teams and beyond
  • Experience in managing global programs, working in complex and demanding environments, strong project management skills and proficiency at effectively managing multiple, complex and time-sensitive initiatives simultaneously under pressure and to tight deadlines; Experience working as part of diverse and virtual high-performance teams
  • Ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with challenging views and perspectives with business stakeholders
  • Experience working with external and internal agencies/resources and research provider.
