We are an end-to-end digital media agency. Our people, technology and insights help global media and entertainment, sports and lifestyle brands create, manage, localise, distribute and place their content, and evaluate its media reach.

The Opportunity for You

We are looking for an experienced dynamic, independent professional with strong analytical and excellent communication skills.

As Head of Social Insights, you will be responsible for delivering reporting to our clients as well as developing DMS’s social strategy and over-seeing the continued growth of the department.

You must be passionate about analytics & data-driven strategies, with strategic & critical thinking, combining a great understanding of technology & social media with business skills.

You will have experience in all aspects of social media campaigns and implementations and would ideally have agency experience.

The Role

  • Generate insights reports, gathering social media data to provide concise reports, and analyse conversations
  • Manage a team of social media analysts to help deliver insights to our clients
  • Work closely with the senior management to deliver continued commercial growth of the Social Insights department, identifying opportunities and meeting sales objectives
  • Oversee and help to maintain the DMS social channels which will include writing thought-leadership content and community management
  • Day-to-day management of key clients

Skills Required

  • Strong experience in research & analytics, managing data projects within a digital/social media team
  • Knowledge of latest social media listening tools such as NetBase, Crimson Hexagon and Brandwatch
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting and pitching to clients
  • An understanding of Google Analytics and content management tools
  • Experience of managing and mentoring a small but growing team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Working to strict deadlines

Desirable

  • Ability to knowledge share on a continuous basis as we continue the internal learning culture we currently have in place within the department
  • An interest in movies and the film industry
  • An ability to understand another language would be useful in this role although not essential
  • CIM Diploma or an equivalent degree in marketing

Benefits

Salary circa: £40k+ depending on experience
